Walt Disney World 1999

These pictures are from a family trip to Disney World July 10-17, 1999 - There were 17 of us on this trip. We traveled from Reno, Kansas City and Albuquerque and met at the Orlando Airport and took 2 limos to the resort. We stayed in 3 adjoining rooms at the Polynesian Resort which was great. Our first morning we had a character breakfast at The California Grill in EPCOT. Most of the time we all went out in smaller groups and went to different places. It was way too hard to try and organize many events that included the entire group. It seemed as though every time we tried we would end up waiting for someone to show up and it just took a lot of time and then some of us would want to go do one thing and some would want to do something else so it was just easier to pretty much go off on our own and do what we wanted. I regret that I didn't spend enough time at EPCOT. In fact the only time we went to EPCOT was the first day. We went on a few rides, started walking around the world then got sidetracked and went into Innoventions and ended up staying there until the park closed and never made it back to EPCOT. We did spend most of two days in the water parks Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. They were a lot of fun. We also could have spent more time at the fairly new Animal Kingdom. It just seems like we spent the majority of our time either waiting for someone or going to the Magic Kingdom. I can't wait to go back to see the new attractions and do a lot of the things we missed the first time.
